Tunebite - A Ruckus User's Best Friend
Sick of dealing with DRM or other licensing crap when you just want to listen to music? If so, there's a way around it that is supposedly legal. (At least according to the sales letter.)
What you need, especially if you are a Ruckus subscriber, is a program called TuneBite. It's a nice piece of software that will convert all your protected music files to unprotected MP3s. Here's how it works:
First, you download all the music you want from Ruckus free of charge.
Then drag and drop some songs into the Tunebite interface (like burning a CD) and your computer re-records them. It can take a while, but that's not a problem if you want to listen while the files are being converted. If you need to speed things up, look at the upgraded versions of Tunebite which offer conversions at 4x (instead of 1x.)
Mess around with Tunebite for a day and you could end up with a huge MP3 collection free of charge, without the hassle of illegal downloading!
It's only like $27. You used to pay that for a couple CDs, and some music subscription services charge that per month. Tunebite offers a free trial download, so you might as well play around with it.

(I used to see a regular version of Tunebite for $18, but now I only see the Premium and Platinum versions which cost a bit more. The regular version worked fine, but the upgraded versions are still worth the money.)
