It's Study Time
At some point, most likely every day, you're going to have to study. And your dorm room probably won't cut it. So here's a list of places you can go:
Horn Library - The most obvious place to go. There are three floors, with the third floor designated for quiet studying.
24 Hour Lab - If you're pulling an all nighter, check it out. It's not that big and it's the only place open late, but it's there.
Study rooms - Some dorms such as Putney, Van Winkle, and Map Hill have study rooms that work great for studying and group meetings. Close to your room if you live in the building, but somehow they stay quiet.
Basements and corner lounges - Some dorms have little lounges in the hallway corners, which are great if the building is quiet and just your room is noisy. There is also a nice room in the basement of Park Manor North that's nice and quiet.
Reynolds - Not always the quietest place, but they have some comfy chairs and the Global Lounge room can be pretty quiet.
Starbucks - There are a couple of these in the area. If you like coffee shops, you can study here.
The Wellesley Library - Not too far away, this public library offers a change of scenery if you just need to get away and get some work done.
